Download and set up the graphics library

• The graphics library can be downloaded from the PTC web site www.ptc.com.  Select the Support tab in the top-right corner, and Technical Support. 

• The select the top link "Order or Download Software Updates"

• You will be asked for authentication.  This is your web account name (email address) and password.  If you need help, contact Technical Support:  1-800-477-6435

• Then select Pro/ENGINEER under Product Name to see the software download list. 

• Scroll down to Wildfire Library Databases, or perform a search (Ctrl-F) for "GRAPHICS-zip"

• Save the ZIP file to your computer.  (A temporary folder is fine) 

• Unzip the file, and it will create a folder with the installation components.  For example, unzip it to d:\downloads

• In Windows Explorer, browse to this folder, then double-click the setup.exe file. 

• The Graphics Library installation will start up

• Select Next at the bottom of the dialog 

• Pick the location you want to install the library.  For example, D:\PTC\graphiclib

• Click the Next button again 

• If that directory does not exist, you will be asked if you would like it to be created.  Choose Yes.

• Then you will be asked "Begin Installing?"  Choose the Yes button. 

• Set your Pro/ENGINEER config.pro option PRO_TEXTURE_LIBRARY to the location where you created the "graphiclib" folder

• For example, if your graphiclib folder is in your D:\PTC\graphiclib directory, then your config.pro would be set up like this....

• PRO_TEXTURE_LIBRARY = D:\PTC\graphiclib

• Inside this folder are several examples of lights, rooms, textures, and ARX environment settings.
