Job Description:
An Associate Application Engineer begins with responsibility for the delivery of training classes in the CAD / CAE / PLM space at either our training facilities or onsite at a customer location. Our classes are delivered in time periods between one to five days and have class sizes that range between three to twelve students. Our clientele includes Fortune 500 companies all the way down to independent business owners. The position progresses into a pre-sales and post-sales consulting role as experience is gained.
This is a starting position for an individual that is interested in getting a foot in the door to the lucrative consulting world. You will have the opportunity to learn and become a top level instructor and consultant from the best in the business. We are seeking an energetic and professional individual that can effectively present technical material to a room of engineers. This person will need to leverage their CAD / CAE / PLM prowess with engineering knowledge to educate customers as effectively as possible.

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of training on PTC software and modules.
- Install and configure PTC software for clients.
- Analyzes customer requirements and develops solutions using PTC Solutions.
- Deliver software demonstrations to prospective customers in a pre-sales role.
- Support the TriStar sales team in pursuit of new PTC business.
Job Qualifications:
- 0 to 5 years industry experience in an engineering field.
- Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering discipline.
- Proficiency with any 3D solid modeling CAD program(s).
- Available for up to 25% of overnight travel.
- Outgoing personality that is comfortable presenting technical information to groups.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reside in a major metropolitan area as shown at top.
- U.S. Citizenship.
