NewsTriStar Announces New Leadership and Direction for Workstation DivisionPhoenix, AZ – April 10, 2007 – TriStar, Inc. announced today that founder Bob Powers has returned to the company to serve as Hardware Division Manager of TriStar Computer. Powers founded TriStar Computer Corporation in 1988 as a direct market PC manufacturer with a focus on high-end CAD systems. After his departure in 1999, TriStar became a PTC software reseller and training provider. The company began expanding its products and services with a goal of becoming a “Total Solution” for the CAD/CAM industry and today offers software, training, consulting, and professional staffing services. TriStar’s hardware division has grown to include secure networking and data management systems in addition to its award-winning workstations and servers. The growth of the company has essentially created many “mini-companies” under one roof. In order to offer their customers the most reliable service, TriStar recognizes the importance of having only the most knowledgeable professionals focusing on each division. “With Bob leading TriStar Computer, we know we have an expert in charge of that piece of the Total Solution,” said TriStar president Patrick Maderia. With the role of high-end workstations, servers, and data management in business rapidly growing, TriStar has proven its dedication to meeting its customers’ changing needs while staying on top of cutting edge technology. “Bob brings to TriStar a love of the industry and I’m confident he’ll lead our hardware division with the same vision and passion he displayed from 1988 to ‘99,” said Maderia. “TriStar is by far in its best position ever in over 19 years,” added Powers. “I feel very pleased to have an opportunity to contribute going forward. Our goal is to increase the penetration of our workstation business across our entire customer base 10% over the next twelve months.” About TriStar |
